With our passion for travel, our staff have experienced so much of the world whether it’s a train through the Rockies, driving across America, cruising the high seas or touring through Africa! We can help you get started on your dream adventure.

Celebrations! Whether is the big ‘0’ birthday or very special wedding anniversaries we love bringing families together. Generational holidays will have lasting memories so grandparents take the kids, take the grandkids, take the great grandkids and celebrate every moment!

Champagne travel has been operating for over 20 years in Mandurah. We are proudly a Cruiseco and Magellan franchise giving us the opportunity to source some of the best products on the market. We love supporting our local community, especially our bowling clubs. and we are a Transwa office.

Throughout 2020/21 during the time of Covid we remained open and operational. We successfully obtained refunds and credits where ever possible for all of our clients. As the world reopened we were prepared and ready to navigate our clients carefully with the advise needed for entering each country.

Meet the team

Michelle Hartland

Owner & Managing Director

Michelle commenced in travel industry in 1990 as a Junior Travel Consultant. It was the start of a 30+ years love all things related to travel. In 2001 Michelle was given the opportunity to purchase the Thomas Cook Office she was an award winning Senior Travel Consultant. Champagne Travel was born 2 weeks before September 11.

From the moment Michelle stepped onto her first cruise ship as a child she knew that cruising was going to be a way of life for her. It was with this childhood passion Michelle has become a Cruise Specialist and a passionate advocate for the industry. This passion has become a family affair with Michelle’s husband Tim and children Trinity and Amelia become very willing participants of her many cruising adventures.

Michelle has been an award winning consultant, businesswomen as well as being involved in multiple advisory groups within the travel industry. She has guided many staff members to become award winning in their own right.

Tailor-made, personalised journeys designed with the client in mind is Michelle’s specialty. Designing a unique itinerary is very important part of Champagne Travel’s business and with Michelle at the helm you will get the Trip of a Lifetime every time you book.

Lisa Worthington

Cruise & Travel Consultant / Accounts

Lisa has been an amazing asset to our team, she has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to cruising particularly travelling with her teenagers!

Lisa joined our team in 2017 and her passion for the travel industry reflects in the tailor-made itineraries Lisa prepares for her clients.

Throughout Lisa‘s travel career she has experienced variety of destinations and cruise ships. An important part of Lisa‘s Travel is making sure that special meal requirements are met along the way.

It is so important for her and her family and many others that meal requirements such as gluten free and coeliac meals are provided correctly. This is why cruising is such an easy way for her to communicate this and know that takes away the stress of meal requirements on her holiday.

Lisa’s dream holiday is cruising the world unpacking once and skipping off at each port with her credit card, then enjoying a glass of wine and a beautifully prepared dinner.

Courtney Williamson-Hatcher

Cruise & Travel Consultant

Courtney joined the Champagne Travel team in July 2022, bringing with her a lifelong passion for travel. She has explored a wide range of destinations and has experienced various styles of travel, from river and ocean cruising to group tours and independent adventures.

Whether it’s a first overseas trip or a once-in-a-lifetime experience, Courtney loves creating seamless and exciting itineraries tailored to the clients interests; whether it be theme parks, island hopping, or something in between.

She’s especially passionate about inspiring young people to get out and see the world, believing that travel is one of the best ways to grow, learn, and make lifelong friends.

Daryl Calder

From my early days as a radio announcer to a long-standing career in the travel industry, I’ve spent over 27 years helping people explore the world.

I’ve held a variety of roles across the industry — from Operations Manager at one of Australia’s largest online travel companies to Branch Supervisor for RAC Travel here in Mandurah.

Having lived and worked in Mandurah for over 15 years, I’m proud to call this beautiful part of Australia home. Being part of the local community and helping fellow locals plan their adventures is something I truly enjoy.

I’ve been fortunate to explore much of Europe, North America, and Asia — and I’m always looking forward to the next adventure.

Joining Champagne Travel at the beginning of 2025, wanting to create an experience of a life time for all those who travel calls too !

With a career in tourism that began at 18, she quickly fell in love with the industry. From working in luxury hotels to working with an airline, her journey has been rich with experience. Born in Benoni, Johannesburg, she has a deep passion and insider knowledge of Africa—planning safaris, homestays, and unforgettable adventures comes naturally.

With a deep and personal belief in the transformative power of travel, she is deeply committed to inspiring people to step outside their comfort zones and experience the world first-hand. To embrace new cultures, challenge their perspectives, and discover parts of themselves they never knew existed is the travel she loves to plan and to her travel is not just about visiting new places; it’s about growing as a person and learning from the world around you.
