Day 1: Arrival in Buenos Aires Argentina’s elegant, historic and cosmopolitan capital, is known as the “Paris of the South” due to its European atmosphere with glamorous avenues lined with fashionable shops and Parisian-style restaurants and cafes. Located on the western shore of the estuary of the Río de la Plata, Buenos
Aires has many fascinating neighbourhoods to explore including the colourful and lively La Boca, home to art galleries and tango shows; San Telmo with its restored mansions and antique stores and Recoleta, the city’s most exclusive area. Overnight in a Junior Room at Deco Recoleta including breakfast (Standard Category Accommodation).

Day 2: Evening El Querandi Tango Show & Dinner. You will be collected from your hotel for your three-hour tour
visiting the most important highlights of the city of Buenos Aires. Discover the history of the Plaza de Mayo Square, the site of Argentina’s most important historical events – see its surroundings and the most emblematic buildings and learn all about them. Then enjoy Mayo Avenue and wonder in awe at the oldest residential neighbourhood in Buenos Aires: San Telmo. Live and feel the original Tango in the neighbourhood of La Boca: walk along Caminito Street and enjoy the Dancers and souvenir shops. See the mythical Boca Juniors soccer stadium. Contemplate the modernization of the city whilst traveling along Puerto Madero and its exclusive docks, full of excellent restaurants and large offices. Pass through the Retiro neighbourhood and move on to see Palermo and its most exclusive residential area before finally arriving at Recoleta. Here, discover the final resting place of Eva Peron, “Evita” and wander through Recoleta Cemetery where she is to be found. On completion of your tour, you will be taken to your hotel. Please note this is a small group tour. This evening you will be collected from your hotel to experience a Tango Show with dinner. This is an intimate & passionate Tango show, housed in a cosy wood-panelled 19th century building with a colourful history as a meeting point for poets and students in the heart of Buenos Aires’s historic centre. After being abandoned in the late 1970s, the bar was restored and reopened in 1992 as El Querandí Tango Hall. The show is directed by Claudio Campos, with musical arrangements by Ado Falasca, and it smoothly charts the history of Argentina’s most authentic artistic expression from its origins to the modern day. Overnight in a Junior Room at Deco Recoleta including breakfast. (Standard Category Accommodation).

Day 3: Half day San Isidro & Tigre Delta Tour. Travel from the heart of Buenos Aires to the Tigre Delta in a
catamaran, offering one of the best views of the city skyline (a view that surprisingly few people see, even locals). You will be collected from your hotel and taken to the city’s port to board a modern catamaran which will take you to the Tigre Delta. During the one-and-a-half-hour cruise you will be able to admire Buenos Aires from the Rio de la Plata (River Plate), its northern areas and the channels of the Delta, whilst enjoying refreshments on board. After the cruise, disembark at Tigre Pier and visit by vehicle Paseo Victoria, the most important neighbourhood in Tigre and then the Puerto de Frutos. You will soon find yourself in San Isidro where you will visit the town’s historical centre and Cathedral on foot while having a snack, and then finally you will see the city’s northern areas and the Presidential Residence in Olivos, before returning to the city.
Overnight in a Junior Room at Deco Recoleta including breakfast (Standard Category Accommodation).

Day 4: Arrival in Iguazu. The spectacular Iguazu Falls that straddle the Argentine-Brazil border, are made up of 275 individual waterfalls lining a 2.7km wide horseshoe-shaped gorge. The Falls are located where the Iguazu River cascades over the edge of the Paraná Plateau. The Falls can be viewed from both the Argentinian and the Brazilian sides, the Brazilian side offering a broader, panoramic view, with the Argentinian side offering a series of catwalks that allow you to experience the Falls from close range. Overnight in a Standard Room at Nadai Comfort Hotel and Spa including breakfast (Standard Category Accommodation).

Day 5: Full Day Argentinian Falls Tour. Early morning pick up from your hotel for your full day of exploring the Argentine side of the falls. There are walkways over the islands which take you to a balcony over the falls and
the most spectacular view of the entire Devil’s Gorge. You will then have plenty of time to walk the 800 metres of paths on the upper circuit. These new suspended walkways are detached from the jungle surface so as to protect the fauna by preventing disruption of the natural trails. From this circuit you have a higher sight of the falls, providing you with a magnificent panoramic view. It takes around one hour to cover the upper circuit. The lower circuit contains 600 metres of walkways, also detached
from the jungle floor, and has great views from below and around the falls. Once you have finished all the circuits, return to the visitor centre where your vehicles will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel. On completion of the tour, you will be taken to your hotel. Please note this is small group tour. Overnight in a Standard Room at Nadai Comfort Hotel and Spa including breakfast (Standard Category Accommodation).

Day 6: Half Day Iguazu Brazilian Falls. You will be collected from your hotel for your tour of the Brazilian
side of the falls. After arriving at the visitor centre, we
board buses for a tour of the park. Equipped with panoramic windows, the buses are designed to maximize your views of the falls, while the walkways and steps allow you to get up close to the spray. Views of the Floriana Falls, the Devil’s Gorge Canyon and the Iguazu River are spectacular and are guaranteed to impress. National Park fees included. On completion of the tour, you will be taken to your hotel. Please note this is small
group tour. Departure Transfer: – You will be collected from your hotel at the appropriate time and transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
Overnight in a Junior Room at Deco Recoleta including breakfast (Standard Category Accommodation).

Day 7: Antarctic Whale Journey day 1. Departure Transfer: You will be collected from your hotel at the appropriate time and transferred to the airport for your onward
flight. Ushuaia is the most southerly city in the world and the capital of Tierra del Fuego (Land of Fire). It has a dramatic setting, surrounded by mountains to the north and the Beagle Channel to the south, making it a spectacular departure point for your Antarctic adventure.
Your cruise itinerary begins with an overnight stay in Ushuaia. If you arrive into Ushuaia early enough, the day is yours to explore. Avenida San Martin and the surrounding streets are where most hotels, shops, restaurants, cafes and tourist services are located.

Day 8: Tierra Del Fuego NP Tour. Today you will explore the only National Park on the island, Tierra del Fuego, home to a variety of wildlife including beavers, foxes and rabbits as well as some beautiful native flora. A collection of short walks will take you to Ensenada Bay, Roca
Lake and Lapataia Bay, before returning to Ushuaia by the End of the World Train. This evening we set sail through the Beagle Channel that was named after the British ship the HMS Beagle. This famous channel transects the Tierra del Fuego archipelago in the extreme south of South America, and is rich in wildlife. Keep a look out for Magellanic penguins, rock cormorants, petrels and black-browed albatross from the deck as well as sea lion colonies. Enjoy your first taste of life at sea and a welcome dinner. The air is likely to be filled with anticipation, as your next view of land will be of Antarctica – The White Continent.

Day 9: Antarctic Whale Journey – Days 3 & 4. As we head southwards, there is time to get to know your shipmates and get an insight into the excitement ahead with presentations from the Expedition Team on everything Antarctic from the history and geology to the incredible wildlife. Leaving the Antarctic Convergence in our wake, we continue south towards Antarctica, maybe making landfall by early evening on Day 4, if conditions
are favourable. The first sighting of land always brings great excitement, and is often embraced as the true beginning of any Antarctic expedition.

Day 10: Free time onboard the Ocean Endeavour. Enjoy time relaxing onboard the ship and spotting wildlife or
attend lectures with the expedition team.

Day 11 – 13: Antarctic Whale Journey. For the next three days we explore the South Shetland Islands and Antarctic Peninsula that is famed for its majestic mountains, glaciers, imposing icebergs, ice-strewn waters and
abundance of wildlife. The scenery, wildlife and serene
silence of Antarctica will enchant and enthral and you will soon realise why this region has captivated the attention of explorers and travellers for centuries.
Your days on the Antarctic Peninsula will form the core of your adventure. Every day will be different as we cruise by Zodiac amongst the beautifully sculpted icebergs and take Zodiac excursions from the ship to explore local bays, channels and landing sites. Unpredictable weather and ice conditions mean that the itinerary will be flexible, but will make the most of wildlife sightings, as we aim to explore penguin rookeries, seal and bird colonies, whale feeding areas as well as visiting sites of historic and scientific interest and climbing to vantage points for panoramic views. There is always something new or unexpected to see, with opportunities for kayaking, snowshoeing and photography with an expert, which means that your expedition will be a unique and personal experience and unlike any other. Enjoy the antics of thousands of curious penguins as you sit on a pebbled beach, scout for orcas, humpback, minke, fin, sei and southern right whales as you cruise by Zodiac, visit a research base, listen out
for the mighty crack of a calving glacier and maybe brave a polar plunge in the icy waters!

Day 14: Antarctic Whale Journey. We hope to make one final excursion or shore landing today before we leave the Antarctic Peninsula behind, and head back across the Drake Passage. This is another great opportunity to
look out for wildlife from the deck of the ship, as you identify seabirds and maybe whales with the help of your Expedition Team. Gain more insight into the region by attending final lectures and presentations by the polar experts and take time to relax and reminisce about your Antarctic experiences. By the evening we hope to be back in the tranquil waters of the Beagle Channel, ensuring a restful nights sleep on board.

Day 15: Antarctic Whale Journey- free time. Enjoy time relaxing onboard the ship and spotting wildlife or
attend lectures with the expedition team.

Day 16: Antarctic Whale Journey. We are scheduled to arrive into Ushuaia early this morning, disembarking after a final breakfast aboard the Ocean Endeavour. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight, or maybe spend a few days in Ushuaia, giving you time to explore
further, maybe hiking in Tierra del Fuego National park.
Overnight in a Junior Room at Hotel Own Express Recoleta including breakfast (Standard Category Accommodation).

Day 17: Travel Day. Departure Transfer: – You will be collected from your hotel at the appropriate time and transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
